Here are some tips and details to assist you and your group:
A parent or guardian MUST sign the Liability Agreement for their student upon registration to enter the ski area.
Suggested Gear for the trip: Winter coat, snow pants, waterproof gloves, winter hat (without a ball) to fit to under helmet, scarf or neck gator, goggles, and warm socks. We suggest dressing in light layers under winter gear.
Outside Food: Students may bring a LUNCH for their convenience. If bringing LUNCH, you may eat in the Mezzanine level of the Mountain Center or the South Lodge. Students may purchase LUNCH in the North Lodge or parents may purchase at time of registration.
Baskets choices are:
Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Hot Dog, Chicken Strips, or Pizza. Baskets include fries and drink. Prices vary from $12-$14 per basket.
Ski School: For those interested in receiving a group lesson, please meet at the top of the beginner hill behind the Mountain Center by the trees immediately outside the double doors once you have received your equipment. This is a GROUP lesson
UPON ARRIVAL BY BUS:
Please pull in front of Mountain Center to unload. Please remain on the bus until the Group Leader has checked into the Group Office to receive materials to distribute to all participants (including those arriving with parents), add or delete students/parents, and issue payment for the trip. The Group Leader MUST have a member from the Group Office, Ski Patrol, & Rentals speak with the group. THIS IS REQUIRED
After unloading, please park in the designated areas located at the South Lodge or the overflow lot across the street (Asbury Road). Once participants have departed their buses and have received their materials, they will enter into the rental area to pick up the reserved equipment.
FOR GROUPS WITH MORE THAN ONE BUS, PLEASE HAVE BUSES ENTER IN FRONT OF THE MOUNTAIN CENTER ONE AT A TIME AND PROCEED TO UNLOAD ONE BUS AT A TIME
UPON ARRIVAL BY CARS:
Please have those arriving by car wait in their vehicle until the Group Leader has completed Group Check-In with the Group Office. The Group Leader will distribute their required materials for the day.
We suggest that large groups decide on an area to meet to have lunch and departure.
